The FTC requires that blogs provide a disclaimer that clearly states any earnings, affiliate relationships, advertising, freebies, etc. that may come into play on said blogs.

The Lay Person Version

Yes, we use affiliate links as often as possible on Theme Big. Occasionally, we may even write posts/pages solely because we’re being compensated in some form. In fact, we do everything we can to squeeze every penny we possibly can out of this blog. Why? Because that’s how the internet works. This blog wouldn’t be written if there were no money to be made.

With that said, I love writing about blog design. I love interacting with other people who are passionate about blogging and blog design. I love coming up with new ideas, being creative and learning new things. I can promise you I will not recommend, accept advertising money, or accept any other form of compensation for a product that I would not personally use.
